I came to realize that I had been too conscious of other people’s views of me. I put myself in a frame, telling my-self, “You must always look cheerful,” “You must be polite,” “You must be nice.” In a word, I lived in a frame of “dos and don’ts.”

Habitually punished myself. Now, I no longer disparage myself by comparing myself to others. I love myself the way I am. It is a wonderful feeling. Dahn Yoga believes it can help more people by being a successful business and makes no apologies for its business side. The plaintiffs and their lawyer have used brainwashing and cult allegations because they had hoped to generate media attention, which they have been using to pressure Dahn Yoga into paying them large sums of money.

One day while doing the Brain Wave Vibration exercise, I began to feel “another me” who was watching “me” who I always had been. The “old me” I was watching looked pathetic with lots of wounds from being kicked around in the course of life. I felt so sorry for myself that I cried out loud out of sympathy. And then I discovered there was something inside of me that made me distrust myself. That thing tried to make me believe that I lacked willpower and patience. The moment I realized the existence of such a negative element, it disappeared.
